Cyber Security & Online Safety

At STFCH, we are committed to promoting both online safety and strong cyber security practices across our school community. As a SEND school, we recognise the unique challenges our pupils may face in the digital world and take a proactive approach to ensuring they are supported to use technology safely, responsibly, and confidently. Online safety is embedded in our curriculum and wider safeguarding practices, helping pupils to understand risks such as cyberbullying, online grooming, inappropriate content, and sharing personal information.

Alongside this, we take robust measures to protect our school systems, data, and digital platforms from cyber threats. Our cyber security protocols are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems.

Our Online Safety and Cyber Security Lead is Mrs Karen Brown, who works in close partnership with our Designated Safeguarding Lead and IT team. All staff receive training on both online safety and cyber security awareness, and we provide resources and guidance to support families in managing these areas at home.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school reception, and your enquiry will be directed to the appropriate member of staff.
