School Day & Attendance
At STFCH, we believe that a consistent routine and regular attendance are key to helping our pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Our school day is carefully structured to provide a balanced mix of learning, therapy, social development, and wellbeing activities—tailored to meet the individual needs of our pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
The school day begins at 9AM and ends at 3:30PM, with structured break times, lunch, and opportunities for sensory regulation and pastoral support built into the timetable. A clear routine helps pupils feel secure and enables them to engage fully with their learning.

Good attendance is vital to every child’s progress, and we work closely with families to support regular attendance while recognising that some pupils may have complex health or care needs. If your child is unable to attend school due to illness or any other reason, we ask that you notify the school reception as soon as possible.
