Medical
At STFCH, we are fully committed to supporting the medical needs of all our pupils in a safe, sensitive, and well-coordinated manner. As a SEND school, we understand that many of our pupils may have complex health conditions, require medication during the school day, or need individual healthcare plans. We work closely with parents, carers, and healthcare professionals to ensure that every child’s medical needs are fully understood and appropriately managed.
Our Medical Lead is [Name], who oversees the implementation of care plans, the safe storage and administration of medication, and staff training in emergency and routine medical procedures. We have clear policies in place to support pupils with allergies, epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, and other medical conditions, and all staff are trained to respond appropriately in the event of a medical emergency.
If you have any questions, need to discuss your child’s healthcare needs, or wish to update an existing care plan, please contact the school reception. They will be happy to put you in touch with the Medical Lead or another appropriate member of the team.
