Security

At STFCH, the safety and security of our pupils, staff, and visitors is a top priority. We have a comprehensive approach to school security that is designed to protect everyone on site while maintaining a calm and supportive environment—particularly important for our pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and tailored to meet the specific needs of our school community.

Key elements of our security planning include a clearly defined Lockdown Procedure, an up-to-date Emergency Plan, and robust Visitor Management and Site Access Controls. These measures are designed to ensure that we can respond quickly and effectively in the event of any incident, including external threats, intruders, or environmental hazards. All staff receive regular training, and we conduct drills throughout the year to ensure everyone is familiar with the procedures in place.

Our Security Lead is [Name], who works closely with the senior leadership team, local authorities, and emergency services to ensure that our protocols remain effective and responsive. If you have any questions or concerns about school security, please contact the school reception, who will be happy to direct your enquiry to the relevant member of staff.
